This place never fails to please. The menu is awesome and there's so much to choose from. The food is NOT cookie cutter stuff it's created for each and every meal. The burgers are great the chicken is great the wraps, my personal favorite are enormous and the plethora of ingredients is impressive. The fries the onion rings are delicious. The beer is always nice and cold and the service is fantastic. Drinks, bam order food bam its there. Great outdoor patio or inside. All good. We love that its local and we can drive half hour for what has always been a great meal. Highly recommended !!
Food was great! We stayed in marmora for a 4 wheeling trip and they were able to accommodate a party of 11 the 3 nights that we ate there. Food and drinks were both 10/10. Staff was super friendly and our waitress even gave us the lay of the land and recommended some amazing spots for us to venture out to. Will definitely be back one day!
Amazing food! So glad we stopped here on our way to Ottawa! I’m gluten free and they had so many choices and the waitress told me everything they can do as soon as I told her I was gluten free. Definitely coming back!
5 stars all around ! Their chicken wraps are amazing, loaded with fresh ingredients! If you love onion rings, this is the place to try it.
Stopped here on the way home from Ottawa to Niagara Falls. If you weren’t looking for it, you would probably miss it. The staff were friendly and it’s a nice small town atmosphere. The chicken was very fresh and the fries were delicious. My boyfriend got the king of the road and I got the firebird. The fire bird was DELICIOUS imo. The motorcycle vibe to the restaurant was also not typical and a nice change of pace! Would travel here again for the food!
Stopped here on the way to Ottawa. Very delicious! The server's were kind and helpful and the portion sizes are GOOD. I just got a Classic Cheeseburger and it tasted very fresh. I'd definitely make this a regular pitstop in my Ottawa drivers!
After a family day-trip to Madoc from Kingston we came across The Iron Rooster by chance and whoah - what a lucky bunch we are to have found such an incredible spot on a whim. It’s been some time since a restaurant blew us out of the water on all fronts - a casual, clean, welcoming atmosphere - great staff with approachable attitudes who go above and beyond to check in on your table (and recommend great food). The drinks were perfect (loved the crushed ice touch on the Caesar’s) and the food was absolutely delicious - Huge portions, quality home-made ingredients that didn’t hold back on toppings etc. We will be back as soon as we can, thanks for an incredible experience.
We discovered this gem while taking the scenic route from Toronto to Ottawa, thanks to Google Maps reviews — and it exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all outstanding. I didn’t get a photo of the food (unfortunately!), but I did snap a few pictures of the motorcycles — it had that kind of cool, relaxed vibe. If it were closer to where I live, it would definitely be my go-to spot.
